Old China from the Basement

While cleaning the house, I found a chest full of vintage china, some of them were marked made in England, Sweden, and Norway.  Here are some of the mismatched china I found.....

Recycled, Repurposed, Repainted, Reused Fire Pit

My husband wanted me to discard and throw away our "old fire pit" I told him that I can repaint it and perhaps reuse it again....photos of our fire pit sitting in our deck before and after.

 

Rusted fire pit before I repainted them above. Below after repainting them with "fire resistant" spray paint. Why throw away something when you can repaint, reuse and repurpose?

Clover and Sam (my little Papillon Dogs)

I am proud to let you know that I have 2 little Papillon dogs that I looked after other than doing some crafts at home.....Sam who is the male dog is quite funny and joy to us, he is almost a year old next month. Sam chews everything he sees on the floor, even our comforter he chewed them twice which I fixed the first time, the other day he chewed again beside the one he chewed on. Clover who is a female dog is about 4 years old, calm and has a bit of an attitude.  Here are some pictures of our dogs.

This is Clover who loves to have her picture taken. Sam playing around on the bed. And the two at the bottom outside the deck.  The only way I can tell the difference between the two was Sam has brownish coat in his ears plus his back and tail were all black in color, whereas Clover has spots of black color on her back.

Here are some of the gifts that were given to friends of Stringing Beads, these gifts were handcrafted by me with real beads, freshwater cultured pearls, and stones; unfortunately 3 items were not received at their end.  I inquired our USPS and notified them that there were several gifts I sent to several countries which they have not received yet at this point and time.  These are the gifts/items that were mailed in early January 2013 and until now they have not received them yet. I was told that it could have been a problem with their own postal service or post office.

Katy Lazaro of Kuwait have not received the gifts from Stringing Beads....Carol Lazaro of Bataan, Philippines have not received her gift below. And Shewa Silastre of Paranaque City, Philippines have not received her necklace posted below.  And to Merlita Tanguan from Negros Occidental, Philippines received her pair of jasper beads earrings and bracelet free shipping and handling.  I would like to thank you all for participating in my "give away" event.  We will have another "give away" this coming summer!
